Hello, My name is Kevin. My parents are Immigrants from China, but I was born and raised in Montreal, QC. My life was fairly simple growing up, I am the youngest of all my cousins by a lot of years. Most of my cousins are about 15-20 years older than me, and had kids by the time I was 4. This caused me to grow up very quickly, as I had to “act” as an uncle to their kids. 2005, My first time traveling, and I went to China to visit my grandparents from my Mom’s side, and I got to experience a family that cares about me.

2007, First job at College Notre Dame as a cafeteria worker, I would work everyday during lunch to serve food, clean dishes, and mop the floors.

2009, Ran away from home because of trouble at school and at home. Police had to be called to bring me in. 2010, I was kicked out of College Notre Dame because of my failing grades which were caused by school bullies, teachers bullying me, and not having any friends, nor a nurturing environment at home. I was able to transfer to Ecole Secondaire St-Luc where I joined the badminton team. I made a lot of friends there, and even won a doubles tournament for youth.

2012, Graduated from St-Luc,took a break from school. Got my a job at Wendys where I worked on the grill. I was tasked to clean the floors, cook the meat and clean the fryer. My plan was to save some money so I can use it to pay for my education. 2013, I was able to get into Vanier College. I stopped working at Wendys because I was working the night shift, and I wasn’t able to manage my schedule properly. While I was at Vanier, I studied and graduated in Commerce. 2014, I started working part-time at an inventory specialist company (RGIS) as an auditor. I would go around Montreal in stores to count their inventory. I was doing this alongside my study at Vanier College.This was easy, as I was able to choose my own schedule, and the people working there were really nice.

2015, I graduated from Vanier College, and decided to quit RGIS to focus on my upcoming studies at Concordia University. In the fall of 2015, I started my first year of university in Computer science. 2017, Landed my first tech internship at Canada Post as a computer science intern. I was tasked to develop a proof of concept of automating the seniority function at the company. Meaning it would use a certain database to check whether someone has seniority over another person. The administration department would use this project to help them for checking for vacations, and other tasks.

2018, I got my 2nd internship at this Startup called Mobeewave. I was hired as a front-end developer to create a website for customers. 2019, After completing my project at Mobeewave, I was offered a full-time position as a full-stack developer. I was still helping keep the website running, while at the same time had tasks that involved keeping our servers secure and fast.

2020-2023, I got hired as a software developer at Apple. I have been working there ever since. I currently work as a Software Developer for Apple, where I was hired back in 2020. I have been working there ever since.

I currently live in a duplex that is owned by my parents situated in CDN borough. Cheers, Kevin
