I was born in Nova Scotia, the fifth child of a European immigrants couple. I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Music. And from there I performed as a classical soprano in Canada, the US and in Europe with opera companies, orchestras and in recital. After having 3 children, priorities changed for me and now I express my artistic side through my stained glass and mosaic work.   

    I have always expressed myself through the classical arts, my first love being music. As a lyric soprano, I performed in many places in Canada, the United States and Europe. Afterwards, my love of the arts led me to express my creativity using glass, stone and ceramics. I see this change not as a departure but as an evolution. Music is ephemeral in nature but stained glass and mosaics are more lasting, so the satisfaction of creating them and owning them is long lived.
