You must love to work and you must willing to learn or practice your skills. The work is enjoyable, creative but sometimes we have stress. You can start your career with us. IDEALLY « musts » to be respected.
1. Understanding. Candidates must understand who Dean Justdean is. Candidate must read carefully and study the Dean’s page Who is Dean | DEAN JUSTDEAN After the Candidate completely understands who is Dean, Candidate will give an impression feedback at the bottom of the page.
2. Payment circumstances. I leave the house at 7 am and I return after 5pm. So that is 10h. But in fact, I get paid sometimes 6h. Why? Because the time I drive and the time I go to see a project to give a price is not paid time. Candidate must understand that. We don’t get paid all the hours. Sometimes I do the project, but the client is not paying me at all… There are unfortunately some bad clients who make tricks. After they do that, I block them and I never deal with them again. But it has happened that about 10 times so far
3. Training season. I will not take a Candidate immediately to work. For some period (one-two months), Candidate will stay home to clean and cook. That is the first mission a Candidate has. Cleaning and cooking is not a paid job. Candidate will do it in return for free housing and free food . I will buy the ingredients to cook. We will avoid meat and we will try to cook vegan and healthy food. Candidate will cook for me, Steve and for him. Before Candidate gets asleep the house must be cleaned, the dishes washed and everything in a good order.
4. Visitors and personal life. In the house none is allowed to invite his friends. The house is just for us, Steve, me and the Candidate. Visitors are not allowed.
5. Mutual respect. We don’t scream at the house. We talk courteously and we don't make noise when others are sleeping. We don’t have a TV at the house. We live in mutual Peace, Love, Respect, Understanding and Harmony.
6. Free volunteering work. Sometimes I do work at home for the company and I never get paid for that. For example: Updating my web page, chatting with clients, restoring and cleaning my tools, cleaning and repairing my car. Creating new content for the internet, e.g. promo videos. These hours, if necessary, we work for free for the company and we do not get paid. Candidate during the first 2 months of our contract, may do such free unpaid work as needed. That work could be: promotional videos in French or English to upload at our web page to promote our business.
7. After the training. After the two months of training season, candidates will follow me every day at work. We will work together as a team. And Candidate will follow my orders during the work. Every team must have one leader such that each car has to have one steering wheel. I would be the leader and you will follow my orders. However, we will talk together before I make any critical decision regarding our business. But the final decision regarding the business would be my responsibility.
8. Candidate’s compensation. Candidate will get paid 10$/h for the work he offers as a handyman cooperating with Dean. Regarding the article 2, payment could not be given under particular circumstances. This hourly wage would be active for 12 months from the day we sign the contract of cooperation. That 10$/h would be offered from my compensation I receive from the clients. I receive 50$/h. I will not increase our compensation as a team. I will not charge our clients more money because of your work. I need to see your work first and me and my clients see an obvious boost of our common productivity. When I see that me and you have become more productive as I was when I was working alone, then I will increase our compensation as a team and the more money beyond 40/h would be your additional payment for your work. But I will not be on that critical point to increase our compensation before 3 months of our cooperation in work. I am 100% sure that at least you need three months of work to be taught the basic issues and so to start to be productive in work.
9. Biography and member application. Candidate needs to write a detailed biography of his life (Example), Candidate must apply to become a member of our team. (Link to become member)
10. After twelve months of successful cooperation. After twelve months of successful cooperation Candidate and Dean will renew their contract of cooperation. Two major things could happen. Option one. We broke our cooperation. So, Candidate will hopefully have a great experience working with Dean. Candidate can move to his place and continue working as a handyman independently taking advantage of the skills and techniques he would have learnt working with Dean. As an independent handyman he can use the brand name of the company and he has all the right to work with clients he introduced and met during the period he was working with Dean. Candidate cannot bequeath or sell this right to other persons. Option two. Candidate can continue working in cooperation with Dean. In that situation Candidate will receive by the new contract 10% of the company’s shares (9478-9161 Québec inc). And life goes on.
11. After twenty-four months. The next evaluation would be after 24 months of successful cooperation among Dean and Candidate. And obviously Candidate will increase his shares in the company by an additional 10%.
12. Break up. Each of the parties, Candidate or Dean are free to break up their cooperation anytime during the term of the contract for any kind of reasons. Those reasons could be personal, or unknown reasons. In such a situation if the breakup happens before the completion of the twelve months training season, then there will be no cost to any of the parties (Candidate, Dean). After the twelve months of successful cooperation as this contract indicates, Candidate and Dean will be co-owners of the Company and in business matters a breakup is not predicted. Because the Candidate will own 10% of the Company’s shares (Article 10).
